Hi everyone,

Dan just called.  Him and Jen are asking that we all sort of take it easy for today.  It takes a lot of energy having a huge crowd around in the waiting room, and today they'd like to mostly just be by themselves, a peaceful break for a day.  Everything's fine, they just didn't get much sleep and want to rest.  I also think it'd be good for a lot of people to take a day off.  Go and do something fun and replenish all that energy for later.

    Doug kun,

O daiji ni. In a very disruptive Japanese 5 class, you were always the force that kept us pedaling forward. My prayers are with you and your family. God still works miracles.

Being one of the many of Dougie’s friends, I would just like to speak for us all and mention that if there is anything we can do to support your family as we all wait for Dougie’s recovery, please don’t hesitate to speak up. Even if it’s little things like running errands for you so keep your mental health from the day to day tasks in a time of all this chaos. I was also wondering if anyone has put together fliers or anything to hang up around the area that alerts the public to what happened and gives the description of the truck that hit Doug…?
My Prayers are with you all,

Hi, everyone. I had the honor to be one of the interpreters for the Robotics team at WHS. From bringing his own personal drum, contributing great things to the team, accepting people for who they are and many other terrific qualities,he is one of my favorite “kids”. (even though school staff are never supposed to have favorites) There is just something about him that lets you know he is an awesome, wonderful person. He and his family are in my thoughts, prayers and good vibes being sent. We’re all looking forward to Doug’s wit and wisdom coming back into our lives.

Let me know if there is anything we can do and take care.
