A trip to the races~

Hey all-
Today I went out with Joe and went to the Doylestown bike race! It was alot of fun and I saw many members of UPenn’s team, along with Justin and Beth, alumni of the team. I even saw my old friend from high school, Erik Mitchell, who does work for alot of races in our area. The races looked good, and in some it seemed as if one rider kept thinking he was so much better than everyone else and was far ahead, and then lost energy and dropped back just with a lap left to go. The prime (first to the finish line after a bell during a race) prizes were awesome! They gave away Giro Atmos helmets! Oh, and I did get a water bottle given to me, so that was good. Very handy in the heat. In addition to a great thing to watch and people to talk to, there was also at wooden playground at the park it took place at. This playground was no minor playground… It was a castle! Complete with slides and lots to climb on. So, we took time out of watching the races to play in it, and it (to me) was worth it. I even went on the swings. This, I probably would have been told not to do, but I really wanted to so I did it. I tell you, having a brain injury sends you (me) back to your childhood days. Now, my sweettooth has taken full swing, and I love playgrounds. Why? I guess because I just love the exercise and energy. And, of course, I am very weak. I am not supposed to lift anything with my left arm. This, because of my splint still on.
Hmm, what else to write about? Well, yesterday my girlfriend came out and saw me, which was also very awesome. We went out and saw Talladega Nights: the ballad of Ricky Bobby too. I liked the movie, and it definitely had quotable parts. “I’m jacked up on Mountain Dew!” Ahh yeah. Another thing that I notice when I hang out with friends is that I very often don’t have anything to talk about. So, If I were speaking to you, I probably wouldn’t have gone into this much detail. I would have just said, ‘yeah, the racing was exciting.’ So go figure. I guess the more I think about something, the more I have to say. Not that I have to think alot before I talk, though.
Well, have a great day!
